“This is so sad. As a kid i have many fond memories of Bucks County but i hardly recognize it today. Its a shame but i feel its a lost cause and no longer has any real community to protect it and prevent these things”

Some of phillys best years were the last recession. Relatively speaking i think philly does well in recessions because it is a cheaper city near expensive ones

Its a term used widely in the past. Once they demo hawthorne projects it lost usage

Kinda transitional but generally that area north of fairhill is a concentration, still fairly bouriqua but more of the other hispanic cultures. (east hunting park, juniata) But a lot of the hispanic north philly communities are moving to the lower northeast, along with most other immigrant groups.
