The tension is kind of lost when they don't define how many survivors there actually are and if most of the narrative engine driving the flashbacks is "Who will die?" it loses meaning if we can just pull new people out of thin air.

Yup, that scene with those three girls sitting at the table by the fire. It felt very cheap for such a smart show to pull a move like this. They 100% wanted to give themselves an out from that flashforward in the pilot.

Natalie is distracting because both actresses do not resemble each other in the slightest and literally seem like entirely different people. They nailed everyone else.

I fucking burst out laughing when I saw the Yellowjackets creators touting a five season arc. They were running out of ideas at the end of season one

The show is perfectly fine as is, the people who want hours of corridor sequences featuring Joel shooting soldiers and zombies in the face will always have the game.

She executive produced (basically just attaching her name to it) and played a bit part. She had zero involvement in writing or actual production which was why the show was so bad

Jemaine Clement leaving this show's writing room has hurt it irreversibly, no way rewatching it will make the Guide not annoying (how do you add Kristen Schaal to a comedy and make her a straight man to the cast) or make the baby Colin Robinson arc not completely idiotic. Literally the only good part of season 3 worth rewatching was the atlantic city episode. For some reason they put all the funny they could muster into just that.

And then it stops being funny once you reach Season 3!

Yeah, well maybe people shouldn’t be thinking they know better than scientists because they read a couple of articles on Facebook, it’s really hard for me to feel sorry for them

He generally just said that theres a lot more that goes into shooting a season of television over a movie which is true. Shooting schedules are probably 3x as long as a film. He may have been looking for a raise in all honesty

Not at all because I understand prestige TV takes time to make, and theres literally no shortage of other media to enjoy while they work their asses off to make something great

As much as you think you know, you don't. The number one reason renewal talks always drag out is budget issues.
