It's different though, because if you do that, you miss out on sharing the space with hundreds of people that are the human embodiments of Creed and Nickelback.

I really hope Disney+ is done with the whole "powerful person loses powers and has to rely on smarts and personal growth to prevail." That's not a well you should keep going back to, just to save on CGI.

I was the first one through the door at my CVS to buy a COVID test today! Negative, but also very sore from all the coughing. Caught up on TLOU a few hours ago!

Yep. That was the first place I ever tried/heard of cask conditioned ale. They're alright in my book.

Ruined any weight the endorsement of "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" had going for it. That place is a greasy spoon in the most C+ way possible.

Also feels like ignorance is a defense here and shouldn't be. Just because she thought her shock collar would disable the dog and was super wrong about that doesn't mean that she isn't criminally negligent.

Walking a pit off leash is terrifying. What if a runner had turned a corner and "startled" the dog?

I kind of feel like Y TU Mama is the closest thing to a "greasy spoon" that a taco place can be. It's good...but there is oil. Lots of oil.

Um, I would say do not get vegan kimchi. It is not even close to being as good. It's also an acquired taste. If you like sauerkraut, you probably will like kimchi. Otherwise it helps to heat it up by searing it in a stirfry or something like that. Radish kimchi can be really good, but napa cabbage is where it's at.
Along that line, there's a kimchi shortage in South Korea currently, and I think that's impacting the quality of what gets exported.

Kimchi selection is very hit or miss and the offerings seem to change constantly. Feel like I'm always just rolling the dice when I buy it there.

Yeah, my older brother has schizoaffective disorder and one of his primary delusions over the past several years is that black people are following him and listening to his conversations. It's verrrrrry embarrassing, because you can't make him unbelieve that.

Love Helen's! My wife and I were already considering having dinner there before an upcoming bday party. We just agreed on it after reading this reply.

And the thing is, when you step back and look at the hours worked and the lack of benefits, the money really isn't "absurd." It just feels that way while you're trapped in the cycle.
