The fairy trails are beautiful but can be scary when icy so bring grippers. Lands end, giant staircase are beautiful to. Harpswell Heritage Land Trust has a list of trails on their website.

Pembroke faced a similar issue and the town opted for a moritorium. Leaders there have language and resources to help other towns adopt mining moritoriums in their towns.

Hogback is closed but Haystack in Liberty is a short hike with amazing views.

Conserve land. Plant native species. Remove invasive plants. Mow less or none. Eat local food. Insulate your house. Slap some solar up. Walk or bike to work or work from home. Unionize. Vote.
