I mostly automated the production of meat themed scripture. I used ChatGPT to write the scripts that run a madlib style series of prompts based on a lore I wrote about anthropomorphic flies that evolve to worship meat heaps through the openAI API and have ChatGPT3.5 generate the scripture. It then gets fed through Google's text to speech and I use it in my decaying meat livestream.
Also it spruced up my resume and let me build a mini application that summarizes online reviews for a side hustle I have helping a niche small business understand online marketing.

Yup. I remember that. It’s happened before, and it will 100% happen again. We just got fucked because of the lack of symptoms for a few days. It really tested the individual’s capacity to sacrifice normal activity because they feel fine right now. It turned out a whole bunch of people I thought were decent folks were only decent until they were inconvenienced.

Broken clocks who will now spend the rest of their lives convinced that their own interpretation of "common sense" is relevant in the face of a complex issue with limited evidence.
Instead of waiting for evidence, they picked the solution that put accessible scapegoats in their hometowns. That turned into actual violence and vandalism.
It was not based in rationality or a desire for truth, it was based in a desire to find a simple explanation that agreed with their biases and allowed them to feel like they had control over something they did not.

Yeah, doesn't make up for the initially huge unemployment, now high inflation, and the childcare disaster that weirdly gets so little attention given the scope of the problem. Careers and lives were on hold or set back for 3.5 years.
The administration is redefining the AGI calculation used to calculate income driven repayment plans and on top of that a new plan that reduces % of the new AGI is coming out. I figure it'll cost me about the same as my car payment instead of double my car payment based on the last numbers I saw. That's their backup plan.

The models don’t come with buttons that do anything. They are tools capable only of what the software developers permit to enter the models and what users request.
If we go down the road of regulating training and capacity to do x, you’ll have to file lawsuits against every artist on behalf of every copyright holder over the IP inside the artist’s head.
These cases are going to fall apart and copyright holders are going to go after platforms that don’t put reasonable filters in place.

Infringing content can be created with any number of tools and we don’t sue photoshop for not detecting someone trying to alter images of what is clearly Mickey Mouse. We sue the person when they are making money off of the sale of copyrighted material.
It’s not worth chasing copyright for Pennies

Standard Gartner Hype Cycle. Influencers found out, so did every 50-60 year old professional I've ever met. They keep asking me how to make money off this, and my only answer is "buy Nvidia" lol.
