I would still consider this the best bang for the buck in The White Mountains. There will be some moderate difficulty no matter where you hike in The Whites, especially with any elevation, but this is certainly the best view you can get for a short moderate/easy hike that I have ever experienced.

Haha I’m an avid hiker in the Whites, theres not a season that I dont hike in. Winter has its benefits and the peaks can be beautiful but after a couple of winter hikes I start to desperately miss the warm months where the forest is alive, the vegetation is green, and I dont need to pack heavier and wear double-triple the layers.

Beauty in every season though!

Yes, beautiful times. Im an avid hiker/photographer in the White Mountains, used to enjoy winter hiking more but not as much anymore, the scenery can certainly be beautiful but after a couple hikes I start to desperately miss the lively forests and green vegetation. Needing to pack and dress heavier becomes more of a project for me. I love being able to quickly get to hiking and be nimble on the trails, especially in the rugged and relentless terrain of The White Mountains. Either way, its all beautiful!
