If anything, that's under selling it quite a bit, considering that >!they reveal that the entire show up to that point was one pass through a time loop!< and >!they later contact people from earlier loops and get stuck in an earlier loop for a while.!< They go deeper into the concept than I can remember seeing anywhere else.

Lots of great ones have already been mentioned. I'd say the best one that hasn't been is the one from Legends of Tomorrow.

That's the one that's tempting me to get it.

Btw, despite the Iron Fist show being terrible, I highly recommend the Immortal Iron Fist by Ed Brubaker. Danny Rand will always be one of my favourite Marvel characters thanks to that run of comics.

Yeah, it's definitely YA but it's the best YA I've encountered in recent memory.

Slow Horses sounds interesting. I'll give it a try if I ever get Apple TV.

6 years includes a lot of initial planning and negotiation and then a lot of work creating the tools that were used to make season 1. Actually making the first season took more like 2 years.

All they said about Arcane was, "Not 2022." So, I think 2024 is more likely, but late-2023 is at least possible.

That damn Ryan Reynolds movie. Shelves were full of unsold GL movie merch, so no stores would pre-order new GL toys even if they were for a show unconnected to the movie. Animated shows live or die on their toy sales and GL:TAS barely had any made, let alone sold.

I'd be happier if they were only shunting off Guy to pair John Stewart with Alan Scott. A tech GL partnered with a magic GL could make for some fun dynamics.

Green Lantern: the Animated Series got pretty good after a slow start for the first few episodes.
