Totally

If there was a tip jar that said “Deposit $1 and we won’t bother you while you pump your own gas” I’d tip every time

Yeah like you can barely see them except with the right light and the right background then it looks like there’s thousands of them.
I noticed them in late spring, and then when I’m walking my dog in some places they were around most of the summer

No idea, and insect spray doesn’t get rid of them

You have to go to the DMVif you want an actual new license. You don’t need to do that though

Yeah it would be like $12k+ for a similar home in Hudson County….my in-laws live there and I think they’re up to almost $15k. I can’t imagine paying over $1,000/mo just for taxes

We live in Runnemede, but some of the surrounding areas should be in your price range once things get back to normal. Somerdale, Glendora, Barrington. If you’re in north Jersey, this may sound ridiculous, but we passed on a house in Somerdale because the taxes were $7k lol. I think our taxes were like $4200 when we bought the house, prob in the $5000’s now

My wife and I moved from Hudson, to Ocean, and now Camden County over the past 12 years due to COL. We bought a 3BR (1100 sqft) house that was fully remodeled on a small lot in a nice neighborhood for $155k 3 years ago. Similar homes are going in the mid-high 200’s now, but there’s no doubt that will come back down.

Reply to Former stepdad is in hospice due to cancer. Are there any forums online where I can find people with nice cars to hire (South NJ) and drive by his sisters house where he’s staying? by aspiringforbetter
There’s several car shows in Camden/Burlington/Gloucester/Cumberland tomorrow and Sunday. Google “south Jersey car shows” and scroll through the events.
Some car people can be jerks, but the vast majority are in it for the love of cars. If you go there and get one guy/gal there on board (this will be easy under the circumstances), they’ll bring all their friends and their friends will bring their friends, and you’ll have a whole parade of awesome classic cars there.

There’s no labor shortage, there are tons of people willing to work for adequate pay/treatment.
