My mom was a massive sci-fi fan so we watched all that stuff. Quark was one of her favorites even tho it didn't last long. We always watched together.

There was some truly great cheesy sci-fi tv in the 70s and 80s. Buck Rodgers, Quark, the original Battlestar Galactica, about a thousand others. Cashing in on Star Wars was a huge thing.
