Lol my dad plowed the driveway once early morning, we plowed it again later in the day, and then in the evening bc we use an ATV and a side by side. Had to roof rake the garage twice so it doesn’t cave in (it’s already bowed pretty bad) and did the neighbors house twice. Only shoveled the deck and dog pen once tho. Got my workout for sure

You’re giving me flashbacks to last month: sitting in my truck smoking about to go inside Home Depot and someone tries to pull in next to me, I’m thinking “he’s not gonna make that turn.” Sure enough he realizes he’s too diagonal and backs up to straighten out, cranks his wheel the opposite way, front end of his truck swings out and hits my rear bumper and tail light. Luckily it only hit the bumper ($350-400) and tail light ($50). Missed the bedside panel by 3” ($500+labor, likely several hundred, plus paint, also likely a few hundred and would never match perfectly)

Yup. I work for Beans. The former CEO who passed away a few years ago was supposedly a great guy. My coworker, a fellow machine operator in the warehouse, said he used to chat with him every morning. He used to go on walks with the wife and CEO. As far as being an employee, I have no complaints whatsoever. I mean, ffs we got a 12% cash AND 8% 401k bonus last year. Is it a perfect company? No. Do they treat us well? Hell yes. Also, the bean boots are still made right in Maine (dad works in the boot factory)

I’ve got a light bar but I ALWAYS turn it off around others, whether oncoming or same direction as me, or even waiting at a stop sign. Its also mounted on my bumper so it’s not the first thing one would see as I come over a hill, and I turn it off as soon as I see reflections of other cars’ headlights on the power lines. Even if the other car isn’t in view yet
