You know what, I agree with you. I started editing this shot last night, and I was up very early this morning and thought I would finish it off. I think I was still tired and messed about with it too much. I will DM you.
Wow, that must of been soul destroying for the photographers. When I say 1 in 3, the 1 is the shot that doesn't go straight in the bin. I looked back over last year's shots that I kept and edited, I think I was completely happy with about 15. The rest were ok.
To be honest when I first started I would get about 1 in 10 keepers, now I'm much more selective and I hope a bit better at it, so around 1 in 3. I think that's about the average from what I have read.
Thanks, no, this is a photo I took myself. It has been edited in lightroom but nothing added. Mostly just raised the shadows and a bit of balancing the colour
It was one of my best mornings of photography this year, deep in Kings woods, just before sunrise, the fog slowly lifting, no people, and the only sound was the dew dripping off the trees and the morning bird song.
I live in LB :) So if you are at the entrance to Stockgrove park, across the road, there is a gate, if you go through it, there is a path to the right. That leads into Kings woods. If you go straight on the path, it leads to Rammamere heath. Check out my profile for more pictures from the area. I think you will know a few of them.
