Just brought it home from my grandparents, its getting a good wash haha, the cooler has basically lived outside it’s whole life

I agree. Bought a tiny red classic cooler for my work truck and the damn handle and side grommet (that swings the cap shut/open) broke within a month.
This cooler was my grandparents and it was always the staple cooler out every holiday outback. Packed with ice and snacks/beer/soda/water.
They upgraded and bought a very fancy expensive different branded cooler and gave me this as a hand me down. Hoping it’ll last until the day I die, it works beautifully.
