Putting aside the whether or not they should do this, it's very unclear that they actually have the technical knowhow and hardware to do this. It's easy to say you're going to do something, much harder to actually do it. Training large models - even if you're just training them - is really technically complicated. You have to do a lot of data wrangling and hardware stuff.
