My parents have a caning near Rome, Bradford county, 8 miles south of NY state an my Dad said they are there. He’s 89 though an I don’t remember seeing those.

That looks like a mess, good luck cleaning up. I found a possum in my Dads yard. We haven’t never seen one in the neighborhood. This thing scaled a ten foot cement wall no problem. Moved the trash and hasn’t been back.

Your right they are low. I see thousands of people riding every day and traveling with my Nurse bag into some seedy areas I’ve not had a problem in 30 years. Keep in mind millions of folks take public transport every day. There’s over 8 million people living in such a tight area, so yeah it’s amazing the amount of freedom there is compared to other cities, considering that the danger is low. Born and raised in Philly during the 60’s & 70’s and didn’t have a problem either. Sure they’re mentally ill folks but not as wild as some of the countries I’ve stayed in abroad.

I know right, us kids made mad loot digging ppl out. Septa paid us to help clear trolly tracks on the big streets. 4th to 2nd & Oregon was a huge lot and hundreds of us built forts, snow didn’t melt for over a month, opportune to hit someone you couldn’t beat with snowballs an hide.

January 78 over 4 feet snow fell in south Philly. We were off school for almost a week.
