Yeah thanks for pointing that out. I can‘t imagine someone on cocaine, meth or anything else driving better than a drunk person and I‘ve literally seen people test and confirm your statement. Goes to show how much we underestimate alcohol and think of illegal drugs as the devil.

I think that was his point, we gotta stop demonizing drugs and understand what they are and how to stop people from taking them or getting addicted.
There‘s a quote about a government needing to legalize drugs once the effects of banning them become worse than the actual drug. For example punched drugs that will kill people. For example drugs that are mixed so much, they are multiple times more harmful than the drug the consumer was trying to consume. Also criminality around the drug use and possession.
In my city you can legally take heroin and it‘s the most sane thing in the world. You see when your city develops a huge drug problem you either start helping the victims, or you start using force against people that are CLEARLY in need of help and pose no real threat…

No I‘M not justifying it. The whale was justifying it, showing why she did it, literally reversing the roles of the show while killing the trainer. It was very clear it was revenge and the animal felt abused by the trainer, which is perfectly understandable unless you lack brain cells because humans turn violent when locked in cells, and the little swimming pools they keep these giant orcas in would be the equivalent of being contained in the smallest cell in the world, they get depressed quickly.
If you‘re asking why the animal did it or call it cruel that‘s just stupid, it took a number of years for the animal to flip, it gave us plenty of chances to stop abusing it for our entertainment. It‘s not surprising that an orca attacked a trainer, like I said you need to look at their little @ss swimming pool and realize orcas can and often will swim around the entire earth regularly unless noise pollution is to high. What‘s surprising is that there was only one incident of an orca flipping.

Yeah tobacco and alcohol rank high for the most dangerous drugs just because of how addictive they are and how many people they kill. A lot of people would rank alcohol and tobacco #1 and #2. Alcohol being banned while meth was legal, and alcohol now being advertised to kids while meth is banned but seriously easy to get, it shows that you need to go far beyond prohibiting substances if you actually want to do something about addictions.
Not sure why you‘re being downvoted, I welcome you pointing out that substances killing countless people are still being advertised as harmless and great and I‘m not sure if people are aware that alcohol is killing as many people as it is.

Because they could? And cats „play“ with mice because they are psychopaths, too. That has got to be one of the most stupid and ridiculous commonly accepted ideas.
Go on, show me how you will teach a young orca or cat how to hunt without ever actually spending any time doing it. And show me how you practice and train your instincts without ever practicing and training. Thanks, bye.
I observed a cat playing with mice, it literally gave the mouse a chance every time and didn‘t bite or scratch it just let it go and recaptured it, giving it a big head start.
And as far as Orcas go, we have absolutely no clue what goes on in their head. But we know they are more emotionally intelligent than us. So maybe there‘s a good reason their hunting tactics seem intentionally cruel sometimes. And when I say maybe I mean most definitely. These animals are more (emotionally) intelligent than us, assuming they do sht not only for no reason but out of cruelty doesn‘t make sense to me at all. That sounds like your dog „knowing“ the mail man is a psychopath because he keeps coming back to your house and leaving his scent in front of your door.
Sorry for the rant. Orcas have never killed humans and will probably save you from drowning, just like dolphins (they are closely related). Magnificent creatures and they probably think we‘re cute, just like Elephants and dogs do.

Huh? They literally ride on their nose, make them do breakdance and other tricks as if they were dogs. The whale was literally abused and took revenge on the trainer. Keeping them captive in a little @ss swimming pool and making them perform tricks while they develop depressions is as bad as capturing an Orca as far as I‘m concerned. Seaworld literally outsources the capture, but they will buy the captured animals, so if only the capture is wrong then Seaworld isn‘t doing anything wrong which is laughable. Go look at the swimming pools they keep half a dozen orcas in.

No I mean literal advertisements for amphetamines going:
„Stay fit and slim by using Amphetamine“
A lot of hard drugs were legal during prohibition, you could take hard drugs but alcohol was banned.

Simpsons hasn‘t been funny in like a dozen seasons but it used to be good satire of life in the US. Family guy is mostly simple humor or absurd stuff for sure but also some great satire, for example I love how the chicken fights ridicule action movies, it was so over the top and came out of nowhere, really cracked me up. Southpark would have never been included in your list if the quality of the show didn‘t drop massively. Rick and Morty is just garbage imo, I can see the appeal but just like Futurama the setting and everything about the show just seems highly irrelevant.

The nascar episode was something else, and there are numerous hilarious episodes like it, but I couldn‘t care less about it anymore. The satire parts don‘t seem relevant anymore, maybe they are for US citizens only, the jokes are forced because everyone will run out of ideas after going for this long.

Hello. I‘ve been trying to reach you about your extended car warranty. Sorry to say, but the warranty for your Mars Rover expired and we are unable to send a tow truck. Just forget about it there‘s no point in recovering it.

I‘m saying it‘s not like politicians didn‘t make false promises back then. Corruption is nothing new either. I can imagine hundreds of reasons why a king would be assassinated shortly after being crowned. And I can imagine dozens of reasons why a king would be charged with treason.

Seems perfectly normal. It would happen today if it was legal or people were organized/united enough. Why do you think all the billionaires keep their identity secret, why do they hide their assets so hard that officially the UK royals aren‘t billionaires? Because they are scared of the consequences of exploitation, corruption and greed.

Very true, arguably a defender in English Football could see more trauma playing every week the whole year than a martial arts professional having 1-2 fights a year. Besides some bloody fights and refs not ending the fight I find it watchable. But it‘s also a different context, you decide to become a professional fighter then you‘re signing up to get fked up. Football players are supposed to play ball in both Handegg and Football.
