I agree on the too expensive thing. A few years ago I got one of the first gen Yoga Books on a lark for ~$200. Was neat but hardly used it. Just started a new job and needed a tablet I could carry around and then a laptop briefly at the end of my shift to fire off email and my god. The thing is Perfect. Co-workers are immediately jealous and shocked that it's not some exotic $2000 machine. These "business" laptops have become just a way to have a high-profit product and corporate IT departments are glibly spending the money.

This is not true. I clear "husks" out of my flytraps all the time. I grow a bunch here in Wilmington which is where they're from.

Some of the SRB segments are literally re-used segments from shuttle SRB's. And the the first few flights are using RS-25's which flew on shuttle missions.... then throwing them in the ocean.

With wise resource allocation and enhanced application of even our current technology it could be done. Pessimism is a threat I didn't list but should have I suppose.

Oh I think we know how to keep a planet alive. It's excessive greed and ignorance we cannot seem to snuff out.

Artemis was created because Richard Shelby wanted to keep Michoud Assembly operating and SLS needs something to launch.

Bosporus is not a canal. It's a strait over 2k ft wide. A Ford, or any other carrier could Tokyo drift through it sideways if she wanted to. The only reasons they don't are legal and tactical.

I just heard the Herzog impression clip on the NPR review describing the two simultaneous projects and laughed so hard at a red light the driver next to me was certain I was a madman.

So it's taxpayer subsidized then.
