Probably be some form of it within the next 20 years.

I hope it's in my lifetime. Not because I want to live forever or even slightly longer, but because I know for a fact it'll be something only the 1% can afford (likely for decades) and I want to see if I'm right about it causing a class war. I feel that it'll be the issue that finally causes everyone else to go "fuck that" and do something about the huge inequality happening with everything else.

Try out Jo Nesbø's stuff.

I burned out on basically every thriller writer on earth except him and Jeffrey Deaver's Rhyme novels. Though I hear good things about Joseph Finder, so I'll see what's up there at some point.

Edit: forgot to say if you do go with Nesbø, even he stresses to skip his first two books. The Bat and Cockroaches.

If it's good I just read it.

If it's not good I don't.

Man. I never expected that this sub would show me how complicated some people can be in their reading rituals. People keeping count of not only how many pages per sitting but word counts. People who can only read certain types of books in certain places or with the need to create notes... all types here. Interesting stuff.

Nothing so far. I have PTSD from violent happenings in my childhood so I don't react the way normal people do. I tend to like when the difficult is done well. Makes it feel like I'm less alone.

If it's difficult just to be difficult it turns me off. Stop caring and stop reading.
