Hough's been a pro dancer and a judge but not a co-host until now.

If ever a show can be custom made for product placement, Booster Gold would be it.

They're keeping some things and discarding others. The Flash movie presumably will allow them to control the extent of the reset.

No, anything announced for HBO Max will just go into the merged streaming platform.

WBD's press release has Lanterns as HBO Max (or presumably what HBO Max ends up becoming). http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2023/01/31/dc-studios-announces-slate-of-10-new-film-and-television-projects-221411/20230131wbd01/

I'd be pleasantly surprised if Superman & Lois is renewed for another season considering both The CW's extreme cost-cutting under its new Nexstar ownership and DC's desire to focus on a new live action Superman. That said, I'm not sure anyone wants to be the bad guy and risk a backlash by prematurely cancelling a generally well-liked series. Whether or not S&L gets a season four is going to be a very interesting decision no matter what that decision ends up being.

Reply to Actors who were fired from the 1st or 2nd season of a hit show, even though they were good in it. by Lili_Danube
Most of the regular cast of Mork & Mindy after season 1 when ABC forcibly revamped the already successful show to try to attract more younger viewers, a revamp that very badly backfired. Conrad Janis and Elizabeth Kerr as Mindy's father and grandmother respectively were eventually brought back.

Reply to Why do shows still choose to use a laugh track in this day and age? Does ANYONE favour it? by [deleted]
I would say that it depends on the individual show. A show that often touched on serious topics like MASH for example never should have had a laugh track (and ultimately discarded it) but it was unthinkable for CBS at the time the show started to air comedies without on-air laughter. Other shows that are more broadly absurdist comedies like Night Court are better off though with a laugh track IMO.

To be fair, MASH producer Larry Gelbart never wanted the show to have a laugh track and it was ultimately dropped before the series ended.

It's a huge rating that basically signifies nothing because of how it was obtained. Tuesday airings without the monster NFL booster will tell the tale.

A sitcom that way overstayed its welcome thanks to a multiyear renewal that extended its shelf life long past the point it stopped being popular.
