How possible is a tree burial in Maine, do you know?
I’m hopefully far off from death, but I find the idea of feeding a tree to be really comforting.

Meh, I like the utility but would prefer not to bike immediately next to a loud highway. Those old railroad tracks transformed into bike paths are much more pleasant

Barber… actually licensed barbers in my state tend to do just fine. I wouldn’t call them “low income”

This is a bunk chart. Its classically misleading because one axis starts at $10.00 and ends at $20, and the other starts at 0. Its skews the data to support a narrative.
https://imgur.com/a/foKA85V here is a guesstimated chart I made matching up the values as I don’t have the underlying data. As you can see more clearly, prices stayed relatively flat, climbing only marginally with inflation until recent heavily inflation years.

The lithium deposit was a year+ ago; that’s in Newry. This is a different deposit of other minerals northwest of Presque Isle.

Rule 4, no editorialized titles.
Also, a "mineral deposit" is a mineral occurrence that may have economic potential
CptnAlex OP t1_j1uxjre wrote
Per rules, not editorializing the title. This news is about a month old, but curious on thoughts?
The following minerals were found at Pennington Mountain, which is just south of Eagle Lake in Aroostook county. This is in addition to the estimated $1.5B lithium deposit near Sunday River. It looks like Maine could have a future in extracting very valuable metals for important technologies. Current law prevents mining, however.

- niobium: used to manufacture gas turbines, jet engines and MRI scanners
- zirconium: corrosive and heat-resistant metal used in superconducting magnets
- dysprosium: boosts durability, cuts weight of magnets for electric vehicle and wind turbine motors
- erbium: amplifies the signal of fiber-optic cables carrying data over long distances
- gallium: used in semiconductors for smartphones, light-emitting diodes and solar cells
- hafnium: used in the control rods of nuclear reactors and as an electrical insulator in microchips
- lanthanum: used in hydrogen fuel cells, hydrogen storage and electric vehicle batteries
- neodymium: magnets in electric vehicles, wind turbines and computer hard drives
- praseodymium: create durable high-power magnets for electric vehicles and wind turbines
- yttrium: used in catalysts, ceramics, electronics, lasers, metallurgy and phosphors

This time is very likely different.
2010, Lepage won with 37%, Cutler received nearly 36% and the Democrat was the spoiler.
2014, Lepage won with 48%, Mike Michaud (horrible candidate) got 43% and Cutler was the spoiler with 8%.
2018, Mills got 50.3%, Shawn Moody got 43% and third party Terry got 5.9%.
I doubt this dude (Sam) gets anywhere close to Terry’s 5.9%. He’s basically completely unknown and people are wary of spoilers. I also think Shawn Moody was a stronger candidate for independents than LePage will be. He is a local business owner and seemed honest. LePage has a mini Trump following but I think he will turn off independents.
That said, WE ALL NEED TO VOTE.

You’re blaming a governor of a state of 1.3 million people for entirely global problems and you’re telling others to wake the fuck up?
She did a really good job considering what she had to deal with. Every single complaint you have are issues affecting nearly 8 billion people. So please, sit the fuck down.
