I grew up in East Woonsocket and its a very nice area. The North End is a nice area too. Prices in North Providence are going to be higher then Woonsocket for a comparable home due to being close to Providence. I wouldn't rule out any of those cities you mentioned. The prices might be higher in general but you might be able to still find something that will fit your needs.

Yeah true you're right. I usually refer to them as neon even though they are not "neon" in the correct sense. Im not sure what else to call them? Safety green? Bright yellow? I was under the impression that they are only placed in school zones so their presence alone indicates a school zone.

Im not familiar with every spot in EP but I know in front of St Margarets there are neon signs and im pretty sure in front of the High School there is too. The ones I come across in Pawtucket and CF all have the neons signs. I don't think it matters if they are neon or black or white as you yourself said you see the black and white ones.

Im not exactly sure what you are trying to say here. I know Goff on Newport Ave in Pawtucket still has the yellow flashing lights. I can't say for certain if other schools have those lights but I know every speed camera has large neon signs that warn you of the cameras. Even the red light cameras have signs to warn you. While I agree that the cameras seem more about the money then safety, they do seem to give you enough of a warning of there presence.

Prices are high because inventory is low. I don't think there will be a crash but prices will slowly come back down with interest rates being higher. If you are a first time buyer I would talk to a mortgage lender to see if you can qualify for down payment assistance. Even if you don't qualify now they can set you up on the right path for the future.

Whats the break down between the distribution and usage charge? At $450 it sounds like you use alot of electricity or have a large house. For electricity my distribution charge is usually under half of what the supply charge is. For comparison my gas bill is usually over double just for distribution charges.

Yeah my entire bill was $160. $105 was delivery and $55 for supply. The biggest jump for me was peak usage. Most of my usage in previous months was off peak usage. Im guessing now that its winter its all considered peak usage and thus charged at a higher rate. I also had a big jump in distribution adjustment charges. I tried looking to see what exactly that is and it seems like its just something they make up to charge more.

I had a good experience at Landes Family Auto. Its just over the border in Attleboro. There was no pressure or typical pushy used car salesman bs. They had a good selection of cars in the 10k range and I haven't had any problems with the car.
