I think his head is to the left. The other hand is anouther surgeon.

Though if that is meant to be an ambu-bag, why is the scrub nurse doing that? Why is the patient being ambu-baged at all? They should be intubated. Can you belive this random webcomic might not show a particularly accurate surgery?!

In Torchlight you load up your pet up and can even send it to sell things for you.

How an animal is bartering on your behalf I'm not sure but I suppose if a flesh eating deer showed and dumped a bunch of bloody loot on me I would give it money if that got it to leave.

At a certain point with things that are big in pop culture and old you can't really expect to avoid spoilers. People aren't going to tip toe around that forever.

But yeah, it is common courtesy to avoid spoilers in titles and thumbnails and use spoiler tags unless it's a thread that is obviously going to be full of spoilers.

I saw one recently where someone was like "wow, I just started the game and I'm hyped X character is in this" and then immediately people started replying with how cool the boss fight where they get turned into a demon is. (-‸ლ)

Combat DoS2. Story, I feel like I'm in the minority but I really liked Pillars Of Eternity.

If you didn't like the style of DoS2 you might like PoE. It still has humor but it's overall much more serious, as you would probably expect from a central premise of kids being born without souls (effectively vegetables completely incable of looking after themselves).

I have one gacha game that I play but by large I ignore them. Especially all those ones that are presumably by the same company since the ads are the same. They put a huge emphasis on "power" level and are like "sign up now and get 200 free pulls!!!" which just makes it sound like their pull rate for high units is very very low

Yes, because they often haves sales that are cheaper than Steam because of the coupon or just happen to have the game I want to buy at a discount when I want to buy it.

That I can buy and play the game and it's a safe store that does not sell keys obtained through shady means are the only things I really care about.

Shouldn't be too bad, the Divinity series doesn't have assumed knowledge of a tabletop game and it's not as front loaded when making a build as most. DoS2 has easy respecing though it's more complicated and restricted in DoS1 (and main character only). There is a learning curve but it's more around interactions between elemental effects and learning how to use those which you can pick up as you go.

Divinity Original Sin 2 would be my vote.

The BG series were great games at the time. They are the first games I ever bought for myself...however they are very very dated and DnD didn't translate perfectly. If you love the genre and want to see the classic then they might be interesting to play but more modern cRPGs are on the whole better and if new to the genre you would be better off playing something like Pillars of Eternity (edit: PoE would be my choice if you want story heavy and a by large more serious tone than D:OS though mechanics are not as interesting) , Dragon Age: Origins or Pathfinder. DoS:2 is less "classic" or "traditional" but that's not a bad thing at all, it modernized and improved on mechanics in ways that make sense and it encourages experimenting (and easy respec and simple character creation means no front loaded build crafting and you don't have research shit before playing which is a massive plus) though as result it plays differently to most.

I don't think you will need to play classic BG to understand the upcoming BG3 though it has a few recurring characters. If you decide to play BG2 keep in mind that it is a direct sequel to BG1.
