Yeah, power delivery is a natural monopoly. There is no competition. Should be state run

Getting worse every year, too. It used to be just a crazy, unorganized clusterfuck of a state. Now they're actively tearing it down.

Term limits sound so good, but in practice they've been quite bad. Missouri tried them and all they've done in let the bureaucrats and lobbyists run the show. If you're out in eight years you're already looking for your next job, so you'll cozy up to industry.

Very possibly it's just general discontent with tourists, which Maine has to deal with a lot. I'm sure there is a Fuck MA one out there as well.

I’d guess that Maine is a combo of a lot of rural poverty which contributes to the issue, combined with at least some government/oversight that leads to slightly more reporting, though not necessarily action. Versus a lot of southern states that have the poverty and isolation and basically no governmental oversight at all

They are going to go 90. I'd rather know where they are and what they're up to then have them blow by in the right lane because some jackhole is camping over in the left at 68 mph.

Closer to home, but hiking up East Rock to the monument for a good view of the city is fun.
