I had a lot of fun. A couple of things bothered me, like >!how everyone that helped them eventually died (happened three times, it kinda gets old), and how this tech girl with no knowledge about her uncle and aunt's real job, also with no training, was somehow always able to help in a fight (even killing two assassins), lie and hack every computer or system (this part is understandable since she worked with security but it still feels too convenient).!< but regardless, it never took the foot off the gas and it got me addicted.

I thought the first three episodes were kinda boring but really like how part 1 ended. Then watched the first three episodes of part 2, hated what they did with the murderer and with the two characters who weren't really important in p1, so now I'm struggling to finish it.

I was thinking of watching it. It's a "case of the week" type of show tho, right? Is it like that for the whole show or what?

At least it's not completely boring so I could watch the 5 episodes, but what was that ending. lol The character who'd been manipulated the whole show is suddenly able to fight a spy and save the day. It's like that person became the main character all of a sudden. And the Dorian revelation? It just felt so out of place because we barely knew anything about this double agent and the actual person he ended up being. Basically why do I care about him? Pretty bad yeah.

Reply to Seriously enjoyed the first episode of "The Power" on Amazon Prime. The series is based on a 2017 novel about how the world radically changes when millions of teenage girls suddenly develop electrical superpowers. Notably, none of them put on costumes and start fighting crime. by TJ_Fox
I watched the first episode and thought it was interesting, plan on watching the other two today. But I have no idea where this is going if they're not supposed to be heroes. lol
