I know what you mean, I don't trust pre-cooked bacon either. I know smoking and drying and jerky is a thing, but the best parts of what make bacon good come from cooking them in person.

Ey you've got the right amount of concern for all of our friends, and understanding that it may seem overboard.

There's a Jewish university nearby, and when a friend there brought me to the cafeteria for the first time, they told me the importance of the colored trays and utensils, and to put them in their respective collection bins. Halal and Kosher are very clear about contamination in a way that many people are not aware of or used to thinking about. Good awareness on ya for sharing that perspective~
