I'm guessing at least some of the radiation given off by the eagle landers was microwave, but obviously the magnitude described in the article is hypothetical

He also apparently missed the 1960s in school. Given this article is talking about the moon, which we've already been to.

Pretty sure everything melts if you get it hot enough

Came here to say this about AoS. Whatever your opinion of the show after the stone activates and sends them to space, everyone I've talked to agrees the first few seasons just keep getting better

I've heard it said so many times. Indians are generally a hardworking people, but god damn do they know how to throw a party

Reply to comment by [deleted] in do we know how chameleons "see" Things with two independent eyes? Is it integrated? Side by side? by VivendusMoriendumEst
This works with both eyeballs pointed in generally the same direction, but a chameleon is capable of pointing it's eyes in completely separate directions and controlling both individually. This isn't really a comparable scenario, right?
The question is whether we know how a chameleon "sees", not how humans see.

I always thought that was just nature doing it's thing cuz carbon based life forms recycle pretty good.

I'm not sure the human metabolism could take much more stress than what the 10 month pregnancy already puts on mothers....

I am so sorry for your woman parts. And also for the probable sleep deprivation youve experienced since. Moms really are superheroes.

Macbooks aside, enthusiast PC hardware has been being pushed along by the massive gaming industry. 30- series GPUs from Nvidia were a massive generational leap forward from the 20- series. Both Intel and AMD are making big strides in the CPU space with 13th gen and zen4 respectively. Talking of RAM, DDR5 is finally actually here and in a big way.
Running a system (especially RAM) from 8+ years ago in the gaming space, while technically feasible, could not compare to the capabilities of a modern enthusiast system.

No shit, I was merely saying it probably gave off some microwave energy. Blasting the surface with microwaves to scienmagically make a landing pad is hypothetical.
