Thete are 435 comgressional districts across the US; 222 are Republicans. I'm not sure who specifically you're referring to, but of want to count even 4 as antisemitism, thats less than 2%, hardly a "norm".

If you would consider that the norm of the republican party, you must too consider antisemitism and violence the norm of the left.

But you and i both know It isn't.

As much as the media and many politicians want us to paint each other as the irrational enemy, that just isn't true.

>It's weird how Nazi level anti semitism has just became the norm for conservatives.

Idk if you live in a social media bubble, are just ignorant, or are intentionally trying to vilify an entire section of people for whatever reason, but damn, thats some ignorant bullshit.

Complete bullshit.

Does it happen? Unfortunatley, yes; there are always extremist and idiots regardless of political affilitation. But saying it's the norm is the same as saying liberals spreading the ideals of anarchy is "the norm."

As a person born and raised in South-west MO, who's entire family, and most of my closest friends are conservative, who works exclusively in rural communities, I have never had someone approach me with anti Semitism or say anything disparaging about Jewish people...not once. Not stammering drunk, not pissed off at political shenanigans, not on their worse day.

I've seen a nazi flag before displayed by an ignorant piece of shit, but thats hardly "the norm", even in the most hardcore conservatives I know. (It was "SS Bolts" on the back of a motorcycle)

Branson is between springfield and eureka springs.

They have everything there.

Jeep tours, Segway tours, helicopter tours, horseback riding, jet boats, escape rooms, all kinds of shows, caves, theme park, every kinda restaurant you can think of. (Cat Cafe, singing waiters, Lamberts in ozark) tiger sanctuary, a couple zoo type exhibits, an aquarium, museums of all kinds (wax museum, ripley believe it or not, titanic) indoor water parks, guided fishing tours, higj speed go carts, climbing gym, all kinds of unique retail shops and craft malls (dicks 5 and 10, the landing) Hiking trails.

People trash it for being "touristy", and it is, but with it comes all the unique niche attractions

Meet with several; find one that's right for you.

I'd recommend someone who has been in real estate in this area for a while (5-8years min), experience and relationships with bankers, title Co, other agents, and inspectors goes a long ways.

There were tons of people who decided to call themselves realtors during the height of covid who don't have much experience, and some who moved here during the "work from home" boom we've been seeing that haven't been around long enough to learn to pronounce Kearney, yet alone develop connections; Be vigilant.

The Wilken team at Reece Nichols has always done me good; really went to bat for me when a deal went sideways. Ive always felt like they're listening and being honest; but there are plenty of good ones around

Reply to HOA questions by [deleted]

We put I a bid on a house back in 2016...out down our earnest money.

The first disclosure indicated it was a HOA, (As is required). We ordered a copy of the HOA bylaws...and withdrew our offer the next day.

HOAs have legal authority to enforce whatever bylaws they maintain.

There will be a schedule of fines I'm your HOA agreement, of you refuse to pay the fines they may be aento charge interest amd eventual legal fees. They can also put a lien against your home if you continue to refuse.

My mentality is the same as yours. It's my private property; I will do what I want on my property. Which is why I'm not a good candidate for an HOA won't ever belong to one.

I feel the same way about code enforcement and zoning.

That's why I will always live in a rural county.

I might have a turkey barn pop up next door, but thays the trade off lol

>It's not a "Facebook post"

This is the link you posted as an offer of evidence or proof: "https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10227836331829475&id=1105524839&mibextid=Nif5oz"

This is quite literally a facebook post.

I'm not saying it has to be a press release or narrative from the sheriff's office (although they'd surely have public record of such, if someone wanted to take the time to substantiate a serious claim like this), but that'd be one form of evidence most would accept.

Alternative a video or pictures might convince some who are skeptical as well; this has reportedly been going on for weeks and the claims being made have no proof to substantiate them.

Im just saying when you're making a serious claim like this, and people ask for evidence of your claim, a facebook post from a self identified activist isn't going to sway many, if any.

Ok, the arguably leading moat knowledgeable expert on homelessness in springfield making an unsubstantiated claim, still remains unsubstatiated.

You're reading the skepticism of many here on both sides of the issue.

When people ask for evidence, they aren't asking for an opinion or an appeal to authority, but I suspect you already understand that.

>I do think the Elm Fork John Brown Club down in Austin came up with a repeatable model on how to deal with this kind of behavior.

You must not know Jim Arnott....

Those guys im Austin stopped volunteers from cleaning up a homeless encampment (and they came back at a later date unannounced with traditional police escort and did so at a later date)...these aren't unarmed social workers and volunteers youd be trying to stop.

Here's how it'd go in Greene County (best case scenario)

Police show up. Guys blocking the police. They're told they're obstructing and now trespassing and if they aren't willing to leave they will be arrested and removed. Some leave. Some refuse.

Police arrest those who refuse to leave and sieze their weapons, and then clean up the camp regardless. Give the homeless some extra time to get whatever things they can carry away.

The arrested protestors now have a modest bail to post, a misdemeanor court date, a firearm seized by LE, and will be targeted for future harassment.

We can use our imagination for the worst case scenario; But idk of any scenario in the history of the US where pointing a firearm has ever ended in the favor of the perpetrator.

If you want to change this, you'll have to target the law, not the enforcers of the law.

>Missouri clearly didnt care.

To be clear the state of Missouri didn't want rec THC at all; thats why no bill ever left committee and why the petition initiative was used, to circumvent the state of missouri.

If you're saying it was shitty of the voters to approve the bill without that consideration, I'd say we're lucky it passed at all; the first red state to legalize rec use nationwide.

And let's be honest, 90%+ of med users were just using the med card as a license for rec.

Let's be real for a second.

  1. Businesses are a cash grab. Thays all they are. That is WHY they exist. That isn't to say there aren't benevolent owners with good intentions in the world; but the PURPOSE of a business, any business, is to maximize profit.

  2. The med card thing is joke. I thought I got scammed. It was a single zoom call, I paid with a card by phone and then they connected me. LITERALLY from the time we I teoduced ourselves to the time the phone call was over, 58 seconds. Not an exaggeration.

He asked what ailments I had, I had a paper I had typed out for reference, I said I get headaches, he cut me off "medicinal marijuana has been shown to treat headaches, I think we can sign off on this"

Of the 12 people I know with med cards, probably 2...MAYBE 3.... use it for legitimate reasons; everyone else viewed it as a weed tax.

I haven't seen it in person, because I haven't been since it went rec, but I've heard they sell med at bit of discount than rec...same product, different pricing.

If thats true, from a business perspective, doesn't make sense to give up extra revenue while also potentially alienating (what is expected to be) the bulk of your customer base.

You must not remember when the first dispensaries opened in MO.

There was a wait line wrapped around the building, and sold out for the week within a few hours.

Inventory will be become more readily available in time and the wait time will relax once people get their stash and the novelty wears off

Many are projecting rec use will outweigh medical use by the end of the year (or sooner) though.

Hippos has always been great to me, but i stocked up before rec became legal and haven't even tried to stop at dispensary since, so could be different now.

To me, they've best burgers are always homemade.

Outside that, Bairs has probably a couple dozen different ways they top their burgers foe some variety. If you just want to taste the meat, I'd go with w.f. Cody's on Sunshine.

For an old time dinner burger, ots a bit out of town but Kad-E-korner deli between fair grove and springdield on H (north glenstone) has a good burger and fresh cut curly fries that always hit the spot.
