For me, the quintessential Vermont pizza experience is a high-quality flatbread wood fired pizza paired with a local brew. IMO Flatbread and Folino's make world class pies that I haven't experienced elsewhere (not that I typically search out pizza when I travel).
Don't know about BTV Subaru but I suggest trying tire warehouse a little further down Shelburne road. Call to see if they have any appointments now... since the weather has been nice I don't think they've been too busy but with the change in temperature and next week's heavy travel holiday they're going to be slammed and will be scheduling 4 weeks out soon.
There was an accident involving a tractor trailer and a minivan on a bridge. I89 south was closed for about 2 hours while the crash site was cleaned up.
