First and foremost. Please do not buy a dog.

I have gotten two dogs from Small Miracles on 40. Both have been wonderful pets (although one was miss identified with regards to breeding, thought it was a beagle turned out to be American Foxhound, easy mistake when a puppy).

We have also gotten a dog from Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland. Also a very positive experience.

207 was a Columbia legacy store that had a long term lease and the rent was significantly cheaper than at Columbia Crossing.

They were offered right of refusal for CC when it was built and Office Depot wanted to move in so they opened a second store to stop Office Depot. They had no reason to keep it open once Elkridge was built and OD moved in.

PG doesn’t have a single zip code in the top 50 of this list for median home sales.

Where are you getting that PG is expensive? Have you ever been there? It’s not a nice place. Their school system is horrible and their politicians are constantly getting booted for corruption.

It’s Howard County, which is where Columbia is located. It’s often listen as one of the most affluent counties in the United States. It’s significantly cheaper than Orange County, CA but it’s certainly more expensive that most counties in Maryland with the exception of MoCo (Montgomery County)

The bike lane is almost unusable in the Fall. All the debris gets blown from the roadway or falls into the bike lane and then it’s a hazard to ride in. Before they “fixed” Oakland mills road, the vehicle traffic would grind up the leaves and break down the sticks, not so anymore. Much like everything, this was a reasonable plan but in execution it pretty much sucks to ride it.

Lums pond is not a particularly tough body of water to swim in, but you won’t be able to walk it, and will have to tread water once you are 25-50m in. If you aren’t confident you have the capacity to do the swim, please do not sign up. I’m not talking about anxiety which many people have, I’m talking about the aerobic ability to do it.

The run sucks by the way
