I kept waiting her to die too… I’m not sure why.
I am all for unliked characters (I loved Gone Girl for example) but this book just… didn’t click?

I’ve read this book 2 days ago, and cannot recall anything from it. It didn’t leave anything with me… which is sad for a book that deals with depression. I don’t know why, something didn’t sit right with me about it.

Reply to Not sure if this is the best place for this, but how do you get through a book that is emotionally difficult for you? Potential spoiling of The Bell Jar. by IDoBeVibing745
I don’t. If it’s challenging (emotionally) I drop it. My mental health is already hanging by the thread, I won’t jeopardise it in anyway. I stopped reading A Little Life and the Days of Abandonment because of this.

If I really like the book, yes.
