Man, why can’t China just fuxk off?? I mean, they spread a huge disrupter and were horrible to their own people, they are helping Russians and N Korea, committing genocide with those people I can’t spell the name, unleashing Covid to the world again, and they want to start a war with US and Taiwan? Why is anyone allowing Chinese out?

In a stable world, they already lost the race. They want to be the best, unlike the west. That's why they knock everyone down for a fresh start.
If you have ever played mario kart and cast the lightning bolt, you'll get the idea.

Japan's ass is next if China takes Taiwan.
It must participate in a defense of Taiwan. If Taiwan falls, China will try and scoop up disputed Japanese islands in the future

I don't know if there is an official comment from Taiwan; but they have meetings more than once a month and President Tsai Ing-wen has asked for Japan's security assistance.
Yonaguni is not a disputed island. It is about 65 miles east of Taiwan, a little closer than the Chinese mainland.
It would probably be used in a joint-operation to defend Taiwan. The locals in Yonaguni have mixed feelings about this: they don't want to be caught up in a war; but they are tired of Chinese aggression.

A bit of confusion and butt puckering because it'll piss off the folks across the strait.
Also a lot of old folks probably snapping back to Japanese speaking skills.

deceptive article. The island is 110KM's away from Taiwan and is Japanese territory so justified to do it but article headline and intention is total sabre rattling.

>Japan’s Defense Ministry plans to deploy a surface-to-air guided missile unit on Yonaguni, a remote island in southwestern Japan that is about 110 kilometers from Taiwan, ministry spokesman Takeshi Aoki said Tuesday.

>Specifically, the ministry is set to expand the Ground Self-Defense Force’s Camp Yonaguni, which is part of Okinawa Prefecture, to accommodate the unit, the spokesman said.

>The deployment is intended to strengthen the defense of the Nansei Islands, including Yonaguni, as China boosts its military pressure on Taiwan, sources familiar with the matter said.
It isn't mentioned in the article, but I believe we are discussing Mitsubishi Type 03 Medium-Range SAMs. There has also been discussion of bolstering drone defenses. The article mentions an electronic warfare unit as well.
>In fiscal 2023, which begins next April, an electronic warfare unit aimed at obstructing enemy communications and radar by electromagnetic waves will also be deployed at the camp.
