I'm looking for regular, plain Passover matzah. Before I go wandering from store to store, has anybody seen it actually in stock this week in the Logan Circle/Shaw/Dupont/MVT area? Maybe at Safeway or Whole Foods?

The Giant in Shaw only had whole wheat in stock in their sad display today, plus non-Passover matzah.

Update: thanks everyone for the suggestions. Whole Foods on P Street had it in stock - a few different brands.

The SW Safeway has it so I'd guess the other ones do too. Not sure if it's the specific one you need though.

Trader Joe's has their own brand that's pretty good and KLP. Whole Foods usually has KLP Yehuda.

If you can’t find it in those neighborhoods, they have a minimal amount of it at the Harris teeter in NoMa (in addition to non-Passover matzah, so be sure to double check!), and a slightly larger selection at the Giant in Columbia Heights (check the endcap). I’ve also historically gotten some at the Safeway in Georgetown, but it’s been years so unsure what their selection is like this year.

Giant O St. Market has kosher Yehuda egg matzoh (and Manischewitz whole wheat).

(Guess I never thought of myself as living in a particularly Jewish area; out beyond Rockville, the local grocery stores have pallet loads of those pink Streit's boxes stacked to the ceiling just inside the doors.)

I saw an endcap with matzoh and other kosher foods at one of the Safeways in NW a couple of weeks ago. Possibly the one in Chevy Chase.

As of Saturday they had big 5-pound boxes of it at the Giant in Columbia Heights. It was part of a special “kosher for Passover” display at the end of an aisle, not in the regular kosher section.
