Tee tree oil burns when applied to regular skin. Can’t begin to imagine the burn when it comes in contact with a mucous membrane.

Nah, tea tree is great for irritations and skin issues down there. But not straight oil. Mixed into a lotion base, or diluted with plenty of warm water as a splash or compress. Thursday Plantation has some terrific products that won’t burn you. Tingle, yes. But that feeling only lasts a few seconds.

For skin, yes. For mucous membranes, absolutely not

Done it all my life, yes on mucous membranes, it’s absolutely fine. Start with a weak dilution, work up to what suits you.
