I unlocked my moms room and now I fucked up. See here’s the thing. I went ahead and had a ps3 and wanted to take it apart. I took all the screws and put them in place and wanted to fix the laser( wasn’t reading games) so I did that and wanted q tips.. it’s 2 am and I’m looking for q tips and I know q tips are in moms bathroom. So what I do is I unlock the door and my mom is woken up. Her friend came over with her 15 year old dog and I woke up her friend, her and the dog. My mom made me clean and said she would wake me up at 9. I’ll fix it tommarow I thought. When I woke up the dog she started having a seizure. I’m worried that she’s going to die and I can’t sleep. They are caring for her right now at 2:28 am. I fucked up badddd. I’m scared that the dog will die. Over me opening a door and waking up my mom and her friend and her dog.

TLDR: I opened my moms door to look for q tips for the ps3 and now the dogs having a seizure.

Hey kid, not only did you not fuck up, you may have saved your dog's life.

If the seizure happened in the dog's sleep, no one may have noticed and the dog could have died. Everyone being awake may be the only reason the dog survives.

It is very unfortunate the dog had a seizure but that is an unintended consequence of you looking for qtips and not something you are responsible for.

Also, it is very impressive that you have the ability to fix your playstation

So your mom and your mom's friend were sleeping in the same bed with the door locked? I can only imagine what that dog saw.

For fucks sake, sounds like the dog needs to be euthanized, you did nothing wrong

No the dog doesn't need to be put down. My dog has randomly had this problem for 13 years. Also yes he did do something wrong. You don't invade people's privacy instead of coddling maybe teach a person young that there are expectations of behavior between people.

The dog is 15 and clearly deteriorating. Sometimes it's just time to say goodbye.

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. Sudden onset seizures in an elderly dog are usually indicative of intracranial disease. It’s better a day too early than a minute too late when it comes to end of life situations.
