Hey there! My wife and I are looking to purchase an EV in the next year (most likely a Hyundai Ioniq 5). In prep for that, and to take advantage of City Utilities' EV charger rebate, we're looking at getting an EV charger installed in our garage.

Obviously, our area doesn't really take well to emerging technologies, haha. For those who have gotten home EV chargers installed, who did you hire to do it?

Thanks!

Stillwell Electric. They are a mom and pop electrician shop. Did a great job installing the charger for my EV and reasonable rate.

Dynamic EVC. They have installed for 3 of my friends. Did great work.

Look up Dynamic EVC, they specialize in EV charging installs. Note: I do not have personal experience with them.

Also curious.

If I was closer to purchasing an EV I’d start by calling some random local electricians and asking if they can do the install. If they can’t then they probably know someone in the electrician community who can.

Trinity electric. Great reputation, union electricians.
