Where can I dance this week? 🕺🕺🕺 I like afrobeat, disco, brass, soul, funk, or amapiano

Hey! I’m visiting your beautiful city from Thursday through the weekend. Does anyone have any ideas for where I can try to dance? I definitely need to move.

Anywhere I can easily take a Lyft/Uber to is good.

Bonus points for a crowd closer to my age (mid 20s/mid 30s) or older, and a crowd where other ppl will definitely be dancing 🤌🏾💗

Afrobeats and Amapiano at Mezzo Lounge on Charles Street. Check out their IG for more info. Disco, brass, soul? You would have to take a time machine to 1987.

There are spots that do funk/soul/disco all over.

You’re very best bet will be to follow @pvdgcal for other events happening too. There are lots and lots of different dance nights in the city almost nightly.

You came ALL the way through. I knew there had to be something! I used to go to the Autocrats thing at the Parlour and got confused when I couldn’t find it but I guess they moved. Excited to try to go to a couple of these 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
