I'm looking for a cool part-time job where I would work evenings and weekends. I would ideally like to work at a music venue, bar, tattoo shop, or small store. I really only need this job to make a little extra cash and make social connections as I'm relatively new here. I am wondering if anyone has seen signs or knows of places hiring please send them my way :)

Narragansett is huge and gets busy so it might be the best place for tips, revival has more niche events which might be the best for "other" culture stuff besides beer, long live has the most well rated beers so if you want to get into understanding craft beer trends, moniker is best during the summer because it's a big patio and you get some time outside

Revival Brewing/Lost Valley Pizza is one of my favorite spots and they're looking for servers and/or bartenders and/or chefs (or were the last I heard, at least). They have lots of music events, comedy nights, poetry readings, and other cool events - so not quite a music venue but along the lines of what you're describing. Everyone who works there is great, too!

Have you tried security work? There are ample bars and clubs downtown. I think one of the companies is called Lockdown.

Maybe see if Kismet Improv is hiring - great social community and they need bartenders and ticket takers on weekend nights
