In Pittsburgh a ton of the doors still have that key hole but I’ve never seen anyone use the key for them.

A credit card. We had them in my house in Cincinnati, they are only ever on the inside of the house and usually attached to nice string wooden doors. The actual lock mechanics are basic though, a credit card can get the door open
