They also sponsor Philly’s national champion camogie team, as a fun fact

TIL Philly had a camogie team. Do they have hurling and Gaelic football teams as well?

Yup, a national champion hurling team (junior B lol, moving up next year) and a few football teams (Young Ireland, Donegal, Kevin Barry’s). There’s more just outside the city, here’s the full list of Philly GAA teams.

That’s so cool! I visited Ireland back in the fall and saw a bunch of kids in Kilkenny hurling, I’d never seen it before so I asked them about it. Thought it was pretty cool and watched clips on YouTube, it’s so intense!

It’s as intense as you make it, I recommend stopping by a training! Na Toraidhe’s (the Philly team, last time I could make it sessions were coed) are all open, though I don’t think they’ve set a schedule for this year yet lol
