You may have to look an additional 2 minutes for a restaurant - there will be plenty open.

You could enjoy a traditional New York Jewish Christmas of going out to a Chinese restaurant and a movie.

That sounds beyond great ! Is there a restaraunt in china town and a cinema you could recommend?

Metrograph for the cinema, just google dim sum and find the closest open one you won’t be disappointed. Some favorites are dim sum gogo and Nom Wah tea parlor but there can be a line, definitely worth it. Many places do take card but doesn’t hurt to have cash just in case. Metrograph also has a really nice restaurant/bar but if this is your first time in NYC I’d get a drink at Metrograph and then dim sum.

Visit /r/asknyc and take a look at what's posted there first, then try asking for specific advice.
