I am not a food snob by any stretch of the imagination, but I still don't understand why people would use jarred or canned sauce unless you've got some kind of disability that makes it hard to cook. It's super easy to make yourself.

Effort and time are two very different factors.

I can make pasta from scratch but I gotta sit there and make the dough, let it rest then roll it out and let it dry etc. Sometimes i'm okay with the 1$ box of pasta instead of spending an hour+ and with the price of eggs going up probably $1 + on the recipe

I don't know if I'd compare making pasta from scratch with how easy it is to make pizza sauce. It's literally like opening an extra couple cans, adding seasoning, and mixing it up.

It tastes like childhood to me . Throw it on a pizza crust and fresh cheese. It’s a completely different vibe with the Don. It’s definitely not good for you (corn oil) but man it does hit the spot sometimes.
