I think it's a bouzouki not a mandolin. Then behind it is either a hammered psaltary or a dulcimer of some kind

It could be an octave mandola, mine looks a lot like that - basically a large mandolin tuned an octave lower.

The sound hole does suggest that since most bouzoukis have an oval hole. Most mandolas I've seen have f holes but do often use a circular hole if not. It's funny because most non f hole mandolins will have an oval hole 🤷♂️
