Empty or some other problem with the tank, yeah, that’s standard practice. Mid is a blend of regular and premium so if reg is out mid is too

Depends on the station too. Some just have one tank of regular and there is a additive called additech that is mixed in at the pump. Can't remember what brand stations used it, it has been years since I was in petroleum service.
edit: shit nevermind additech is an additional additive that you can get blended in if you want. Sorry it's been like 10 years.

They may have averaged the prices together because the tanker pumped the wrong grade into the wrong tank.
