Haven’t read any of his books but they sound really interesting and it seems like he was one of the most influential horror writers ever. The only bad thing I’ve heard about him is how racist he was, though that’s not surprising considering when he lived.

he was so racist, racists called him racist.

he was also quite anti-Semitic, but when he married a Jewish woman, he changed his view on that particular area.

how racist?

an old guy died because he saw people of colour in one of the books.

He married a Jew and believed she was the only good Jew in the world simply because he knew her. I'm sure he could overcome those pre-concepts if he got to know more POC and of different religions. The stories about him sounds like the kind of guy who would benefit from therapy nowadays.

Please don't Judge cool air by a video made by overly sarcastic production. The horror Is not the air conditioning, but the undead kept himself alice for all these years

Well at least you judged It after reading It. I personally don't find It particularly bad, especially if compared to seme less interesting stories like the shunned house
