the climatic moment from my new album . influenced by industrial and d&b palettes but it’s mixed with some ambience . very punchy drums and basslines that weave the track together . would love to know what you think !

How this band is not bigger in popularity is beyond me.

I’ve been listening to Ber (pronounced Bear). Indie Pop, leaning toward “sad girl acoustic songwriter.”

I saw her opening for Sigrid, who I adore, a few weeks ago, and I really fell in love with her music. She is very talented and funny and sweet and her work deserves recognition.

Strum by Jessie Montgomery

Recent piece of contemporary classical, though I don’t think any official recordings have been published. Not too long ago a group called Alexander String Quartet came to my college to perform, and this was one of the songs they played. They also performed in the chapel on campus which really made it beautiful, the acoustics in there were perfect for this kind of music. This video is pretty good but it doesn’t do it full justice

Tennis Pagan - half normalled

Dreamy synth spattered calm coats smooth flows of crisp rhythm balanced over intricate leftfield bass

PERMANENT//ZEMP - POPGUN

Smooth and smoggy vapor lounge beats wafting across a gently grimy lofi of dreamy dystopian chillout

Mr. Hideyoshi - WAREHOUSE GROOVES VOL. 1

Hard driving tech house chopping funky skewed disco into a heavy club tangle of progressive clatter

These and other albums are posted with embedded players on my wordpress. There’s also previous week's recommendations and a lot more music to discover. You can also check out my twitter where I post all the good songs that I discover daily.

Hi guys, this is my first ever song I’ve put out. Recorded it with my producers down in Georgia a couple months back. It’s about two friends heading to a party together and after a couple drinks the girl express her true feelings for the guy, changes the plan for the night completely, can’t wait for you to hear. Andrew from the famous band “Them Dirty Roses” tracked the guitar for this song!

Ivvas - "How Far I've Come"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w48cEHQTXgs

I released this original early last month.

It's a dark and moody song that starts acoustically and builds up to a rock song at the end of the track.

It's about the apocalypse dealing with the individual mindset. It deals with the concept regarding whether anything we've ever done mattered at all in the end and if we could change anything, would we bother to do so...

Thanks for checking it out.

This is a track from a local indie rock band from Dallas. It sounds like a heartbroken love ballad, but in reality it’s a metaphor for depression. It sounds like Peach Pit wrote a moody version of Here Comes the Sun

I wrote/recorded a piano piece centered around field recordings taken from a memorable holiday with my partner in a village in rural Vietnam. The artwork is a painting by my partner of a scene we shared there & the music was written with these memories in mind. It was of a better time.

Faux Hex - Hierophant [theatrical glitch / experimental electronic] (2022)

This is a self-promotion post, but I'm hopeful that the unusual genre will appeal to the curious listeners here.

This is 'Hierophant' by Faux Hex:

The track is an electronic, theatrical, genre-bending derangement wherein the individual is exposed as a multitude of disparate voices. Howling, shrieking, ranting madly…Think TS Elliot’s The Wasteland on PCP, face down in a swimming pool, as the music pulsates like a magma chamber in labour.

Hierophant was recorded and produced in our subterranean studio beneath the streets of Bristol, UK.

Thanks for taking the time to listen.
