I’m looking to get a tattoo done of 6 short words, compromised of letters taken from a handwritten card. Nothing too complicated. Does anyone have any recs for an artist who will work with me to put this together and execute it as clean and accurate as possible?

I was recommended someone at Jersey City Tattoo who has shown exceptional work in the past but just want to shop around a bit. No budget and would like to get it done within the next month.

Thanks in advance!

Baddie Tattoos is a private studio situated in an artist loft in a funky old factory in the heart of the Heights. Both Rachel and Anastasia are incredible.

Of course! Happy to help. For context, I had something similar done. It was my Nonno’s handwriting from a note he sent me before he passed away and I was very happy with the work. Good luck in your search!

This will be my dads handwriting who just passed away in June at only 56 years old. I really want to capture it perfectly 💗

I am so sorry for your loss. Such an important decision so take your time, and go with whichever artist you feel does the best work and makes you the most comfortable. Your dad would be so proud to be honored like this. You’re an amazing daughter!

Depends on what style you’re going for. I do all American traditional and I go with @kevingaretz (ig) at jersey city tattoo and he’s awesome. I’ve gotten tattooed all over the world and he’s the only one I seem to constantly go back to.

Honestly. If you're just getting lettering in black and it's small. Just call around and go to whatever has a time slot available.

I got my wedding ring done by just calling around.

Not in jersey city but there's a shop called God's of Ink in bayonne, its owned by 2 artists that are on featured on a Vh1 series called Black Ink. I've never been tattooed by either but their work online and on the show is great.
