Your opinions matter more than lifers because the majority of JC is transplants, transplants own more property and have more overall wealth, and pay more taxes to the city per family.

That is all.

Jc lifers live with it. All JC’ers matter , but you’re not the ones who matter more.

I'd suggest there are very few multi-generational families in JC, the population regularly turns over. At the end of the war most residents all left for the suburbs which were all being developed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jersey_City,_New_Jersey#Demographics .

Yeah, the people that move in, vote stupid policies that make our lives worse, then move out, are who really matter!

Anyone who puts effort in to making the city better and stays around for the results, be it a newbie or someone with 100 year roots here, is whose opinion should matter most.
