This surprised when I moved here given it’s a blue city in a blue region of a blue state.
Wouldn’t it be easy to drop the “Christopher”, since everyone refers to it as Columbus Drive anyway?

Do I want a frozen banana? No.
But I want a regular banana later. So yes.
Why is it still called John F Kennedy Blvd when everyone including official addresses say Kennedy Blvd
We need to make this official.
Why do some signs say Tonnelle and some Tonnele?
Why is there no one correct way to say Tonnelle/Tonnele/Tonelle?
There was a whole thread about this, the most accepted way was Tunnel-Lee
That's how the light rail says it too I think (if that's any form of legitimacy)
I personally go with Tonal-lee the most
Tone-Nell is my favorite (because it's two syllables) but I have switched to Tunnel-Lee because that was the accepted way when there was a debate LOL
I still think it looks like Tone-Nell though
Carpal Tonnelle syndrome? lol
Is this a real question
Asking the hard questions.
Why is Jadakiss as hard as it gets?
It used to be called Railroad Ave until all the tracks were torn out in the 50s.
So…. What exactly would be the difference?? Do you *really* think that "Christopher Columbus Drive" is more problematic than "Columbus Drive"?
And, since you are so seemingly set on virtue signaling, why not lobby for Marin Blvd to be properly referred to as Muñoz Blvd?? I mean, technically, Marin Blvd is named after Puerto Rico's first democratically elected governor, whose name was Luis Muñoz Marin, and the proper address when not using both last names would be to use just the first last name.
“So seemingly set on virtue signaling” Sure, thanks.
It’s an honest question. Given the momentum of renaming/reclaiming across the country, not to mention the debate over Columbus statues in NYC, I was curious if it was there had been local debate about it here.
So, if the issue is "Columbus", why would "Columbus Drive" be any better than "Christopher Columbus Drive"?
