If I recall the green dot means at least one exercise was recorded. Either manually started by the wearer or the watch detected a workout in progress.

If I recall, it needs to be 15 minutes or longer, but yes - that’s exactly what it is.

Oh ok so if I was like, choking the chicken it wouldn’t record if I do it in under 15 minutes

Erv t1_ja1gkhe wrote

You would have to purposefully begin tracking a workout and let it run for 15. So correct. 😂

Oh thank god. I mean, not like that’s important to me but hey gtk

The green dot in the activity app means that you tracked a workout with the watch on that day

A recorded workout from an app or Fitness+

I take it you had a good night out on the 10th?

This is actually not correct. It appears when a work-out is recorded. You can see days without a dot where the move ring is closed in this picture.

Oh yea. You’re right. I’ll delete

Workout detected prolly from your Apple Watch

OP doesn’t have an Apple Watch because if they did, there would be Exercise and Stand rings in addition to the Move ring.

“Prolly” is not a word.

(Downvote me all you want, using this word while texting friends or whatnot is one thing, using it online in social media or in public makes you look like you never passed grade 5…..whether you realize it or not.)

Prolly not. Language peeves are weird: why am I ok with this, but people using “less” instead of “fewer” or “amount” instead of “number” really annoy me. People are not volumes, they’re units.

Jeez. Either you’ve set the calorie goal really low or you’re really fit

Well considering your daily goal should be set to something achievable and maintainable it’s probably you who set the goal way too high
