I’ve been experimenting with amps hooked up to my Mojo 2 to help it out a little with my HD800S. The MT-604 adds some slight tube fun but vocals suffer, while the RNHP adds nice clarity but I think is a little disappointing for the price point.

I’m wanting to try out some other SS amps as I think my proclivities lean more in that direction. Are there any SS amps in a similar small form factor that would compliment the Mojo 2 with the HD800S? Looking at the $200-300 price range (I’ve been eyeing the JDS Labs EL AMP II+ and Topping A50S).

Balanced outputs and a decent volume knob would be a bonus!

Magni+ is an obvious choice. Also the Valhalla (a little pricier) is supposed to pair well with the 800S

Consider the Lehmann Linear. I think it is seriously underrated and I don't know anyone else who uses one.

I have one and use it with my iDSD Pro as a DAC

It drives my Arya better than anything else I've tried, and it is quite astonishing with the Thieaudio Ghost

Edit: Apologies, I just noticed it is way above your budget, but I would see if you can audition one, and save up or see if you can get one second hand. I bought the Linear over the Rupert Neve as that was only £150 cheaper
