Also that it's not enough improvement to be called 5g by what the networks agreed too...

The don't include the number of transmitters per square mile. That is much higher as well and has a huge influence on the ability to deploy 5G in rural areas.

Bull-fucking-shit. Data my ass go try using that shot anywhere and see what happens to your battery life and connectivity. Verizon has repeatedly told me to run off 4G to avoid “service issues” so 5g can suck a nut. Someone should have sued this entire industry for this sham. They wanted to upgrade their internals then fine don’t market it as an up sell, it’s your infrastructure ffs.

Might be different in the states, but in Canada there’s definitely a pretty noticeable improvement in terms of speed. I can get like 400 to 500 mb/s anywhere downtown or at home. Putting that speed to any practical use is a different story, since my data cap is 15 gigs (I’m paying 60 dollars a month, excluding my phones financing).

Go to TMobile. When running off 5G, I get around 500mbps for their home internet. If it falls to 4G I get down to 75mbps. Similar on my phones. I much prefer 5G
